Design & Planning
We start with layout and function: door swing, niche placement, valve height, and accessibility. For tiled showers we recommend large‑format tile layouts with sloped pans and linear drains when space allows. We help you choose thermostatic or pressure‑balanced valves and match finishes across the bath.

Waterproofing & Drains
We install pre‑sloped pans or site‑built pans with bonded waterproofing membranes, flood‑test the pan, and use integrated bonding flanges for drains. Corners and penetrations receive full membrane coverage and sealants; benches and niches are waterproofed before tile.
Valve & Trim Installation
Valves are set plumb and at correct depth for the finished wall so trim sits flush. We add service stops where applicable and test for leaks before walls close. For rain heads and body sprays, we size piping and use pressure‑balancing loops for even flow.
Costs & Timelines
- Prefab base/door installs: typically fastest and most economical
- Custom tiled showers: additional time for pan, membrane, and tile work
- Valve/trim upgrades: priced by brand and complexity
FAQs
Do you flood‑test the pan?
Yes—we flood‑test before tile so you know the waterproofing is sound.
Can you add a niche or bench?
Absolutely. We frame and waterproof niches/benches and slope surfaces to drain.
What about accessibility?
We install low‑profile thresholds or curbless entries where framing allows and set grab bars to code.
